Frequently asked questions

How CardBeast identifies your cards, prices them from real eBay and CardMarket data, and lists them in one tap. Still stuck? Contact us.

What is CardBeast?+

CardBeast is a scanning and listing tool for trading card sellers. You photograph a card with your phone and in seconds CardBeast identifies it, shows the real selling price from recent eBay sold listings and CardMarket, and lets you list it on eBay in one tap or export it to CardMarket. It turns the 5 to 10 minutes it takes to research and list a single card into about 30 seconds.

Which trading card games does CardBeast support?+

Pokemon and One Piece Card Game are fully supported today, across English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Japanese printings. Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Lorcana are on the roadmap.

How accurate is the card scanner?+

CardBeast identifies cards by visual image retrieval first: your photo is matched against a catalogue of reference card images, so it stays accurate even on alt-art and special-illustration cards where the collector number is printed in a stylized font that text-reading scanners misread. An AI vision pass then confirms the language, condition and variant. When confidence is low you get a quick picker instead of a silent wrong answer.

How are prices calculated?+

The main price is the median of recent eBay sold listings for that exact card, filtered to remove lots, proxies and wrong variants, and bucketed by condition (NM, LP, MP, HP for raw cards, and by grading company and grade for slabs). Prices follow the card's language: an Italian card is priced against the European market, an English card against the global market. PriceCharting and CardMarket are used as fallbacks when the eBay sample is thin.

Which marketplaces can I sell on?+

You can list directly on eBay with one tap, and export to CardMarket as a CSV that our browser extension uploads to CardMarket's bulk lister. TCGplayer support is on the roadmap.

Does CardBeast work for sealed products?+

Yes. Booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, starter decks and other sealed products are recognised and priced the same way as single cards.

How much does it cost?+

There is a free tier to try it, then Starter, Pro and Business plans that scale by how many cards you scan per month and which marketplaces and analytics you unlock. VAT is shown at checkout and you can cancel anytime from your account.

What happens if a card is identified incorrectly?+

Every scan has a Wrong item? button that lets you pick the correct card from the catalogue. The price, images, eBay comps and CardMarket link all recompute instantly for the corrected card, so a miss is always recoverable.

Do you support cards in languages other than English?+

Yes. CardBeast detects the printed language of the card and prices it on the right regional market. It handles English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Japanese, with the interface in English.

Is my data safe?+

Yes. Authentication and storage run on Supabase with enterprise-grade security, payments are handled by Stripe, and we never sell your data to third parties.
